Sony is showing off more of God of War's combat gameplay. At its PlayStation Live event at Paris Games Week, the publisher revealed a new trailer for its upcoming PlayStation 4 game. You can check out the new trailer above, which shows more of the game's father-son combat dynamic.

The last time we got a good look at the latest God of War game was E3 2017, when Sony showed off this look at gameplay. The company also recently released this concept art for the game, which shows off the war-torn, desolate world that you'll be exploring in-game, as well as Kratos looking distinctly Scandinavian.

The concept art also depicts some of the scary-looking Norse enemies that you'll fight. In it, Kratos's son Atreus also appears, holding a dagger that looks insufficient for taking on the hordes of foes.

God of War's developers are promising the game will feature many changes that set it apart from its predecessors when it launches in early 2018. For more on the unique challenges of rebooting the series, check out GameSpot's interview with God of War creative director Cory Barlog, where he talked about how his own personal experiences of becoming a father changed his vision for the game.
