GMX Media has today announced that it has secured the publishing rights to Deep Sea Tycoon in most European territories. The underwater city-management game will incorporate elements of real-time strategy gameplay and will even allow players to jump inside a torpedo turret and defend their city from pirate raiders using a first-person perspective.

"We are very happy to bring this exciting title to Europe and will continue to work with Anarchy on more titles," said Barry Leonard, COO of GMX Media.

Deep Sea Tycoon will feature three campaigns as well as tutorial and sandbox modes. Players will be able to construct their cities using more than 100 different building types and will have to deal with underwater disasters such as sinking cruise liners, giant squid attacks, toxic waste dumping, whirlpools, and nuclear explosions.

Deep Sea Tycoon is already available in North America and is currently scheduled for release in Europe on November 7. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the game.
