GMX picks up Seal of Evil

The UK publisher secures rights to Object Software's RPG set in historical China.

Comments

UK-based GMX Media announced that it has secured publishing rights to the PC action role-playing game Seal of Evil. The game is in development at Chinese studio Object Software and is the prequel to 2002's Prince of Qin. The game is set at the end of the Warring States period in ancient China (476-206 BC) and sees players taking on the role of aspiring nobleman Ying Zheng. Like Prince of Qin, Seal of Evil uses the time period as a story-setting base and uses Chinese legend to incorporate magic and mysticism into its gameplay. Seal of Evil incorporates an isometric view that's reminiscent of the Diablo games, and it includes a "Five Elements" skill system, item crafting, and multiple endings. No release date has been announced for Seal of Evil.
