Global Star Software, a subsidiary of Take-Two, has announced that The Italian Job is now shipping for PC. SCi released the game for the original PlayStation in Europe late last year, and it hit US shores in May. The game is based on the story and setting of the 1969 heist movie of the same name, which starred Michael Caine as Charlie Croker, a criminal who has just been released from jail and is planning his next big score.

The Italian Job has 10 drivable vehicles from the 1960s, including cars, 4x4s, a bus, and the legendary Mini Cooper. The game's missions are set in a variety of European locales, most notably the Swiss Alps and the streets of London.

The Italian Job will retail for $19.99. For more information, check out the full review of the PlayStation version. We'll have a full review of the game soon.
