Electronic Arts and Crave Entertainment have announced that Global Operations, the team-based action game created by Barking Dog Studios, has gone gold and will ship to stores later this month. The game lets players assume the role of a member of one of 26 elite fighting forces and engage in battle in one of 13 different real-world locations. Characters in the game will have access to 32 real-life weapons, as well as a variety of military equipment such as night-vision goggles, thermal vision, grenades, and other explosive devices. In addition to the single-player mode, which pits players against computer-controlled opponents, Global Operations will support up to 24 players in its multiplayer mode.

EA and Crave have also released a new multiplayer demo of the game, which lets players play online in the Quebec level from the game. The 96.6MB demo can be downloaded from the links below.

Global Operations is scheduled to ship to stores on March 26. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
