@tgonzalezcmg: It is though isn't it? A 65" 4k TV and a Switch that appears OK-ish at best on a screen that size. A nice 27" monitor or a 50" at biggest TV might seem a better match.

65"?

I know the TCL's aren't a high end brand but still. Odd Combo.

@wahsobe: so the giveaway it's a partnership with CNET and the TCL 6-series has been an editors' choice for the last few years. Granted that this is the newest model and it needs to be reviewed. I have the 2019 model of the TCL 6-series and I love it. But I see where you are coming from and really appreciate your perspective. Thank you so much for taking the time!

@tgonzalezcmg: I'm not saying there aren't a couple nice TCL's out there. I tried and failed to get one of their models because it didn't make it's way up to Canada. They are however by and large known as a budget TV manufacturer.

I'm always trolling Rtings for TV breakdowns.

I guess it makes more sense if TCL is actually sponsoring the thing, though I might have chosen a PS4 or Xbox One if I was going to go 65" 4k. They probably wanted to stay neutral. Wouldn't want to ramp up the fanboys/girls.

I will make this pledge now: if I somehow win, I will donate the TV, Switch, and everything else to the local children’s hospital or women's shelter (I am 100% serious). Unlike you selfish bastages, I have enough self awareness to recognize that I have more than I need and why shouldn’t I give the prizes to the less fortunate?

If I don’t win, I will scream, whine, and cry online about contest fraud, accuse the entire process of being rigged, post that Sony ROOLZ and Microsoft is TEH SUXXORS or vice versa (this is Gamespot after all), and then will write a strongly worded letter to the admins.
