Namco announced today that its action adventure game Ghosthunter has gone gold. The PlayStation 2-exclusive game should be available in North American stores on August 17 and will retail for $49.99. Ghosthunter's story follows two Detroit cops, Lazarus Jones and Anna Steele, as they happen upon a research laboratory, where they accidentally release a legion of ghosts. Players will control Lazarus from a third-person perspective as he battles monster teddy bears, giant reptiles, and insane little girls. Ghosthunter is rated "T" for Teen.
