Get Free Cyberpunk 2077 Goodies When Connecting To GOG Account

Developer CD Projekt Red has pulled back the curtain on a new batch of in-game rewards Cyberpunk 2077 players will get when they connect the game to their GOG account. (You can also now check out our Cyberpunk 2077 review.)

The studio didn't name each piece of equipment players will get in the game after connecting to GOG. But based on an image the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account posted, it looks like players will be able to get their hands on at least five different pieces of gear. This includes two shirts (with one emblazoned with the School of the Wolf logo from The Witcher franchise), a jacket also featuring the wolf logo, a knife or sword, and some plushie-looking thing.

CD Projekt Red also said those who own The Witcher games and Gwent will get more rewards, including a Gwent samurai-inspired cardback. Additional free items will be available in the future. All of these rewards will be available regardless of what platforms players have the game on.

Creating a free GOG account is simple. When on the site, scroll to the top navigation menu and select "Sign In." From there a prompt will pop-up, asking to either log in with an existing account or create a new one. You can log in with Facebook or sign-up using new information. (GOG is a subsidiary of CD Projekt SA, the parent company of CD Projekt Red.

This news comes as CD Projekt Red hosted its final Night City Wire livestream before the game's December 10 launch on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S / Series X. We learned some new things about Cyberpunk 2077, such as how sex works in-game and confirmation that legendary rockerboy Johnny Silverhand will be playable.
