Get A Free Mystery Gift With Your Hogwarts Legacy Preorder

You'll receive a free game or a discount to use on your next purchase at Fanatical.

Ahead of Hogwarts Legacy's launch next week, Fanatical has kicked off a promotion that runs until February 17. If you purchase a Steam key via Fanatical, you'll receive a free mystery gift that can be opened immediately. The mystery gift will either be a free game or a coupon that can be used on your next order at Fanatical.

In addition to the mystery gift, you'll get a discount on the game as long as you buy a copy prior to launch (February 10). The standard edition is discounted to $52.79, while the Digital Deluxe version is $61.59. All preorders come with the Onyx Hippogriff Mount.

Those who opt for the Digital Deluxe edition will also receive a trio of Dark Arts bonuses: Battle Arena, Garrison Hat, and Cosmetic Set. Perhaps most notably, the Digital Deluxe edition comes with three days early access, so you can start playing Hogwarts Legacy on February 7.

When you factor in the free gift and discount, Fanatical's preorder offer may be the best way to pick up the game on PC. It is worth noting that Green Man Gaming has the lowest price for Hogwarts Legacy preorders, though. You can snag Steam keys for the standard and Digital Deluxe for $51 and $60, respectively.

Hogwarts Legacy is developed by Avalanche Software, a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game has been embroiled in controversy due to transphobic remarks from Harry Potter author JK Rowling. Although she is not personally involved with its development, she stands to profit from its success. For more, read our in-depth article on how Rowling's comments have impacted the trans community.
