Genshin Impact Update 3.7 Has Cards, Combat Challenges, And A Catgirl
Duel in The King of Invocations Grand Prix and play as new character Kirara.
Genshin Impact Update 3.7 is on the way and it's bringing a massive TCG event and a new sword user character.
The King of Invocations Grand Prix is kicking off. You can play four different TCG-themed mini-games at the event. If you're not interested in getting into Genshin Impact's TCG "Genius Invokation" there might still be stuff that will interest you.
You can duel in the unofficial tourney, "Zero Hour Invokation," and play with some selected cards. In "Evermotion Mechanical Painting," you can solve gear-based puzzles to earn rewards. "Heart of the Dice" minigame incorporates elements of the TCG into Genshin's combat and elemental mechanics. The final minigame, "A Tour of Wonders," allows you to go on tour, clearing enemies and picking up commemorative stamps on the way. By completing event challenges you can earn rewards, including the four-star Ibis Piercer bow. Fittingly, the Genius Invokation TCG is getting a major update with over 60 new cards, including over 10 new character cards (such as the four Archons).
The update also drops a new character: the Four-star Dendro sword user Kirara. This package delivery catgirl can strike with claws and youkai powers. Her Elemental Skill can create a Dendro shield after a flying kick or transform into "Urgent Neko Parcel" to deal Dendro damage and move faster. Her Elemental Burst explodes into Dendro bombs that deal extra damage.
Finally, the update offers a new story quest for Yoimiya and a hangout event for Kaveh. You can also in various new combat challenges. Update 3.7 will release on May 24.
