GeForce Now Adds Chrome Browser Support

Nvidia is also adding more games to the streaming service's robust lineup.

Nvidia is celebrating GeForce Now's first anniversary by introducing Chrome support and adding a number of new games to the service. As part of the celebrations, GeForce Now Founders can also look forward to receiving a "unique offer," while all members will get "something special."

Beta support for streaming games directly through the Chrome browser on both PC and macOS is now live. Simply head to this link and you can log in and start playing games like Hitman 3, The Medium, and Assassin's Creed Valhalla right in your browser. The latest client update has also added official support for Macs with the new Apple M1 chip via Rosetta 2.

After some initial pitfalls, with major publishers such as 2K, Activision Blizzard, and Bethesda pulling its games from the service, Nvidia can now boast a roster of more than 800 supported games from 300 different publishers and 6 million members. Over 175 million hours of gameplay have been streamed using GeForce Now so far, with Cyberpunk 2077 accounting for over 3 million of those hours.

There are more games arriving on the service, too, with Nvidia sharing the latest GeForce Now Thursday update. The following games are available to stream right now:
