Gears 5 To Cameo Halo: Reach Characters

During the Gamescom edition of Inside Xbox, Microsoft announced a surprise crossover for the upcoming Gears 5. Characters from Halo: Reach will be available in Horde, Escape, and Versus modes, along with a variety of other cosmetics based on their Noble Team aesthetic.

Emile-A239 and Kat-B320, two of the Spartans from Bungie’s final Halo game before setting of on its own to make Destiny, will be playable characters included with the Gears 5 Ultimate Edition or included with Game Pass Ultimate. The Noble Team Character Pack also includes a Noble Team skin for Jack, a banner, spray, mark, and weapon set.

Like all Gears 5 playable characters, Emile and Kat have their own Ultimate abilities for use in multiplayer. Emile has a drop shield, and Kat has a hologram. The two were also voiced by their original actors.
