GDC Day One: Showing Up

I arrived at the San Jose Convention Center around 9:30AM on Wednesday morning. I had, sadly, arrived too late to attend the roundtable about sex in games that was being chaired by Brenda Brathwaite, and which was simply called "Sex in Games: Hardcore". I mean, who wouldn't want to attend a roundtable with that name?

Anyway, after milling about for a bit and thumbing through the enormous manual of conferences, (if you haven't seen how many panels and talks are being given at GDC, you should really check it out), I met up with Ricardo who casually suggested I go to the Sony keynote with him.

It was called PlayStation 3: Behind the Box after all, but were they really going to show the PlayStation 3?
