GDC 2007 dated

Developer-oriented conference returns to San Francisco March 5 to 9; call for papers set for this summer.

The 2006 Game Developers Conference is officially history, having wrapped up on March 24 in San Jose, California. It doesn't mean it's not too early to plan for GDC 2007, however, now that the dates for next year's event have been confirmed. GDC 2007 will return to San Francisco, where it was held in 2005, on March 5, and run through March 9.

Those interested in hosting their own lecture sessions have a few months to make their case, as CMP Media today announced that the annual call for papers is coming this summer. The group also announced that highlights from GDC 2006 are now available from the conference's official Web site.
