SAN FRANCISCO--Some gamers love their favourite characters and games enough to inscribe them permanently on their bodies--and the Dreamlords World Tattoo Challenge at this year's GDC will bring together the best in a competition.

The tattoos will be judged on their originality, relevance to gaming, and overall quality. The winner will get a signed copy of MMOG Dreamlords Collector's Edition and a one-year subscription. They will be judged by Jon Selin, the lead designer of Swedish developer Lockpick's Dreamlords, and in-game character the Swamp King.

Lockpick CEO David Rosen commented, "We got the idea after seeing some of our more devoted fans' pieces of art, and we also know that there are many game related tattoos out there so we decided it would be a fun idea to make it more official."

Interested participants are invited to head to the Nordic Pavilion from March 5 to enter.
