Looking to switch from Xbox One to PlayStation 4 or the other way around?

GameStop has announced a new trade-in offer where it will pay you $200 for your current-gen system when you apply the credit towards the purchase of either a new Xbox One or PS4.

To get the full $200 credit, your system must have all necessary components and they must be in working order. GameStop will accept defective items, but for a lesser trade value.

It should also be noted that this offer, which runs through April 24, is available in the United States and Guam only. As usual, it's a good idea to contact your local GameStop store before heading out.

The Xbox One now starts at $300, meaning you can pick up a system for just $100 with this promotion, while a PS4 can be had for $150 instead of $350.

Running alongside this offer is another where GameStop will give you $100 in credit when you trade in a newer-model Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 and apply it toward the purchase of a new Xbox One.
