The US video game retailer GameStop has refreshed its weekly deals and released a new ad with info on all the sales going on between May 2-8. Let's dig in and see what the best deals available this week are. [Update: It's now Monday, and GameStop's deals for the week will be wrapping up soon. Act now if you're interested.]

Oddly enough for the brick-and-mortar store, the top deals are on digital games and content for PS4 and Xbox One. If the new Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer got you hyped (see above), you can grab the original on Xbox One for $10 right now (it's backwards compatible). You can also get Bioshock: The Collection, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, and XCOM 2 for $20 each. The Sims 4 and most of its expansions are on sale for half off on Xbox One. There are also plenty of savings on add-ons like virtual currency for NBA 2K18 and the Call of Duty: WWII season pass.

And if you have some games you're ready to trade in, you can get 40% extra credit for trading toward the purchase of God of War, Nintendo Labo, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, and State of Decay 2.
