Digital Anvil unveils more details and screens of Starlancer
Although Digital Anvil wasn't able to show playable codes for Chris Roberts' Freelancer, the company did make Starlancer available for editors to see and play. The game is being designed by Erin Roberts, who was also the main force behind Privateer 2 when he was at Origin Systems.
Starlancer will feature a 3D engine with the usual bells and whistles - particle effects and dramatic source lighting - but will also attempt to emulate the more successful space sims of today by creating a dynamic mission structure and more diverse missions overall.
