GameSpot Lords of EverQuest beta contest opens

GameSpot begins taking sign-ups for the Lords of EverQuest beta contest.


GameSpot is pleased to announce that our Lords of EverQuest beta contest is now open. This contest will give GameSpot Complete members the chance to win one of 50 spots in the exclusive first round of beta testing for Sony Online's upcoming real-time strategy game. The first round of beta testing is scheduled to begin in early September, and it will last a couple of weeks. First-round testers are automatically enrolled for the later rounds of testing, which will be opened up to more and more people.

Sign-ups for the contest will run from August 21 to August 25. Those who are interested in entering the GameSpot contest must first register for the Lords of EverQuest beta at Sony's Web site. You can then complete your entry into our contest by signing up at our contest page. Winners will be chosen randomly and announced on Tuesday, August 26.

Lords of EverQuest is an upcoming real-time strategy game from Sony Online Entertainment. The game is set in the EverQuest universe, and all its units and spells are drawn from EverQuest lore. Players will command their armies with powerful lord units, and every unit in the game will gain experience in battle. For more details, check out our previous coverage.
