Final Fantasy XI is an online RPG set in the world of Vana'diel, which is host to a number of distinctly Final Fantasy-style elements, such as chocobos that can provide quick transportation when mounted. With mechanics that are generally similar to those of other online RPGs, Final Fantasy XI has players exploring a vast world and battling foes alone or in groups to gain experience points, improve their characters' abilities, and find better equipment.
