GameSpot today launched GameSpot Fifty (G|FIFTY), a first-of-its-kind daily leaderboard that tracks consumer demand for upcoming games. Updated every 24 hours, the database lets you know what the most anticipated games are, from the moment they are announced until they finally are released.

G|FIFTY uses a proprietary algorithm that analyzes factors like page views and video streams across CBS Interactive's gaming portals, including GameSpot and Giant Bomb. Search data from the web is also tracked, and the algorithm is weighted to more accurately predict results.

Activision's Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is currently the top game overall, followed by Battlefield Hardline, Far Cry 4, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and Destiny. We're expecting a bevy of new game announcements next week at E3, so keep your eye on G|FIFTY for immediate analysis of what's trending.

GameSpot is going all-out this year at E3. We're planning more than 50 hours of live video programming, including full coverage of the major press conferences from Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo, as well as developer interviews, news coverage, and more. For more on GameSpot's E3 plans, be sure to check out our dedicated E3 hub.
