Games With Gold: Last Chance To Grab These Free Xbox One Games

Here are the current and upcoming freebies on Xbox One.

A new month is quickly approaching, which means the free games Xbox Live Gold members can get right now will rotate out soon for March's Games With Gold lineup. While you wait for those freebies to become available, however, there's another handful of games you can claim right now.

The February 2020 lineup includes the 2004 Xbox classic Star Wars: Battlefront (not to be confused with 2015's Star Wars Battlefront), horror-adventure game Call of Cthulu, and TT Isle of Man this week, which means Xbox Live Gold members can snag three free games right now. Fable Heroes rotated out on the 15th, unfortunately, but hopefully you've already claimed it.

Now Playing: Free Xbox One And Xbox 360 Games With Gold For February 2020 Revealed

TT Isle of Man is a tight-cornered motocross racer that will be available throughout the whole month. The other Xbox One game for the month, Call of Cthulu--based on Lovecraft horror--will be free until March 15. And finally, Star Wars Battlefront is the original 2004 classic that spawned several sequels and DICE's current-gen reboot. Xbox 360 games in the Games with Gold program are playable on Xbox One through backwards compatibility, meaning Xbox One owners have a total of four total games to download each month.

Your Gold subscription, which enables online play, also includes the monthly Games with Gold library. Gold is also included with Game Pass Ultimate, which gives you a much larger subscription-based library on both Xbox One and PC.

I will download them but they will land pretty much at the back of my backlog of games.

But what i will do is to launch Star Wars just to see how it runs compared to the OG Xbox console.

Panzer Dragoon Orta on OG Xbox and XboxOne was like night and day,hope to see that kind of improvement with the Star Wars game

The Batman: Telltale console download is still broken. They really don't want people to buy Gold.

@timthegem: I downloaded it 4 days ago,all episodes except episode 4 was downloaded.
I had to manually download episode 4.
What problem did you encounter?

@timthegem I downloaded it from from the console with no issues, but I've encountered that issue before.

Download it from the Xbox website under your account.

Game Pass is their thing now. These games are weak but it's hard to complain about it. I was wondering when the Final Fantasy games were coming.

Nice. This might be one of those rare GWG months that I don't own a game on any of my platforms.

Star Wars Battlefront 1 is one of only 2 games I don't own from the Star Wars Complete Collection bundle on PC, so I am really glad it is being offered on GWG. It was just recently added on steam and has a 97% positive rating there. The other is STAR WARS™ Episode I Racer.

I would have preferred Fable Anniversary but we haven't received a Fable game in a long time so I guess they decided to give one out. Since it is not an rpg like the other mainline Fable games, I probably wouldn't have bought it otherwise, so getting it free on GWG is okay.

I was also interested in buying Call of Cthulhu for it's Lovecraftian horror detective rpg theme, so getting it free with GWG is a pleasant surprise.

I don't think I have ever had a motorcycle road racing game on Xbox before so TT Isle of Man would be nice to try out.
