GameCube broadband release date revealed
Nintendo announces an official release date for the Japanese broadband adapter.
Nintendo has revealed that the Japanese broadband adapter for the GameCube will be made available in Japan on October 3 for a price of 3,800 yen (approximately $31). The device will enable DSL and cable modem subscribers to use their high-speed connections for GameCube games. The regular modem for the GameCube will go on sale September 12 for gamers who still use narrowband.
