Game of the Year Nominees Revealed for SXSW Gaming Awards

South by Southwest Gaming organizers have announced the nominees for this year's SXSW Gaming Awards, which will take place March 14 in Austin, Texas. Game of the Year finalists are Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Bayonetta 2, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Shovel Knight, and Dark Souls II.

Hosting this year's awards show will be actress and comedian Janet Varney (The Legend of Korra), along with YouTube personality Markiplier. The SXSW Gaming Awards will run alongside the 2015 SXSW Gaming Expo, a free, public event coming to Austin March 13-15.
