Now Playing: Wonder Woman 1984 Review: Even Better Than The Original

Meet Me in Another Life focuses on Thora and Santi, a woman and a man who keep meeting in different versions of reality, each time with a different dynamic between them. Slowly the pair start to realise that they are continually meeting and set about trying to discover why they are drawn together.

In a statement, Gadot said, "Catriona's characters are beautifully explored and deeply complex--their reincarnations sometimes bordering on taboo--that the payoff of their self-discovery feels genuine and earned. We're thrilled to partner with [co-producers] Chuck Roven and Richard Suckle to bring this story with many layers on the big screen."

In January, it was reported that Gadot will also star in the Netflix-produced thriller Heart of Stone. According to the streaming giant, the movie is "an international espionage thriller," and will be directed by Tom Harper (Wild Rose, Peaky Blinders).

As for Gadot's best known role, Warner has fast-tracked the third Wonder Woman movie after the success of Wonder Woman 1984. Patty Jenkins will return to direct.
