Infogrames announced today that it has signed beach volleyball player and model Gabrielle "Gabby" Reece to endorse its upcoming PlayStation volleyball game, Power Spike. The game, which is being developed by Carapace, will feature Reece as both a playable character and an opponent for all versions of the game. Naturally, Reece will appear prominently in both print advertisements and on the game's cover. There will be more than 45 licensed male and female players in the PlayStation version, and 20 in the Game Boy Color version.

Beaches include such exotic locales as Rio de Janeiro, Osaka, Acapulco, and Sydney. Owners of the PlayStation version can create their own characters, while those who possess the Game Boy Color version can play head-to-head via the link cable. GameSpot will have more information on this game as it becomes available.
