Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, most conventions this year have been canceled, including San Diego Comic-Con. However, many are shifting to a virtual event, letting fans have that same con-experience from the comfort of their own homes. On June 8, Funimation announced its anime-centric event FunimationCon 2020.

The two-day convention will happen entirely over the internet on July 3-4. Funimation announced some of the planned events for the July show, which virtual con-goers can register to attend for free.

While there is still more to be announced, Funimation revealed three panels centered around Fruits Basket, One Piece, and Fire Force. All three panels will feature the English voice cast, delving into the series, and the Fruits Basket panel mentions a Q&A and live reading.

Additionally, there will be musical guests like Japanese artists Blue Encount, Flow, and Kana-Boon showcasing concert footage, music videos, and delivering "special messages." All of the confirmed acts are part of Sony Music, Inc. as Funimation is collaborating with the company for this event. Additionally, FunimationCon 2020 will have a special airing of the 2019 Sacra Music Festival.

Below, you'll find the full panel and musical act listing for this year's virtual event. For more information about how to attend this convention, visit FunimationCon 2020.
