From Software's New PS RPG

From Software is developing a new third-person perspective RPG called Evergrace for the PlayStation.

From Software has released details and screenshots of its new RPG game for the Sony PlayStation called Evergrace. Unlike From's King's Field and Shadow Tower first-person perspective, Evergrace will sport a third-person perspective. As characters gain experience through battles, they not only gain levels but acquire bonus points as well. These bonus points can be added into one of five parameters (such as strength, agility, wisdom) on your status screen.

Players can charge up the Balmira gauge to execute Balmira actions. Balmira actions either have physical or magical powers. Players can also equip each of the five body parts - head, body, left arm, right arm, and legs. In addition, there will be equipment slots for rings, amulets, and Balmira. And depending on the placement of equipped items, your characters will gain increased stats.

Evergrace is expected for a spring release next year in Japan. Look for more coverage on it soon.
