Freedom Fighters coming to the GameCube

Though originally reported in our impressions of the game, Electronic Arts has officially announced that a GameCube version of Freedom Fighters will be shipped alongside the PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions this fall. Freedom Fighters is a third-person squad-based shooter set in an alternate time period in which the Soviet Union has invaded the United States. It's up to players to join forces with the citizens of New York City to overthrow Soviet forces.
