Battlefield V is slated to release on November 20. To help drum up excitement from shooter fans, publisher Electronic Arts is giving away all four Battlefield 1 expansions in October. The first two are available for free between now and October 16. The prices of the other two will presumably drop to zero for the final two weeks of the month.

Obviously you can't take advantage of the freebies without a copy of Battlefield 1, so we've looked at all the US retailers and found the best price for the game on each platform. Here are the best deals available at the time of this writing.

The first free expansion is called They Shall Not Pass. It introduces the French army to the game and adds four maps that are set in--you guessed it--France. It also includes a new mode called Frontlines, two new Operations, six unlockable weapons, four melee weapons, a new Behemoth, and the Trench Raider elite class.

The other freebie is the In the Name of the Tsar expansion, which brings the Russian army to the battlefield. Along with it comes six new maps, 11 new weapons, plus vehicles and more. Here's where you can get these expansions for free:

When you play Battlefield 1 in October, you'll find daily challenges that let you unlock things like weapon skins, Dog Tags, and Squad XP Boosts. You can even unlock in-game items for Battlefield V that will appear in your account once it comes out.
