Free PS4 PlayStation Plus Game For July Gets Substitution

So they replaced a game I was mildly interested in(sports vidya can be fun, though I usually don't like paying for it) for something that's an absolute, unmitigated dumpster fire whose only entertainment value comes from watching other people suffer while playing it. Welp guess all I'm getting out of PS+ this month is continued multiplayer.

Well, for free was about the only way I was going to play Detroit: Beyond Human...no way was I going to pay for a glorified interactive movie.

SONY shouldn't have swapped the games. Whatever games they gift us, there are gonna be a section of gamers who would be excited about the selection as well as a section who will be pissed. I for one I'm a FIFA player but was happy I was gonna be in a position to play the best of both worlds. At least include the third game and give us the option of choosing which among [DHB and PES2019] we want to add to the racing game

i bought a years worth of psplus when I found out Heavy Rain and Detroit were on instead of fuckin, Konami's shitty football handouts, even their freebies are shit haha, was probably just a platform for micros anyway.

but good job on releasing games that don't suck. everyone is entitled to say pes sucks, if you're paying for a service and get **** all but shit and STILL slow network, crappy ps now and no game pass, you're more then entitled to be pissed off over a shitty month.

On one hand, I have zero interest in sports simulation. On the other, I bought Detroit: Become Human less than a month ago. Just not a good PS+ month for me.

Now we're talking. Pro Evo is good, but getting it 1-2 months before the new one comes out is a joke.

Not having PS3 and Vita games was supposed to mean a step up in games.

Sony may have read all of the negative impact of releasing an "End of life cycle" game + a bad copy of top gear and decided to step it up.

Another excellent month of PS+... Really loving the service. I've only bought 10 games this generation, and haven't really had the need to buy more as I've downloaded more than that for free.

just bought detroit but worth it to have heavy rain so now i have all three post Fahrenheit quantic dream games on my ps4

thank lord...a game worth downloading instead of a pointless game that you would already have had by now if you actually wanted it...

I already had the digital deluxe edition for this. Both Detroit and Heavy Rain are great games. Whoever didn't have this before is in for a treat if you're into these types of games.

Small bummer. Love soccer and was looking forward to playing a bit. But I'm sure I'll enjoy this one as well.

Time to renew my PS Plus.

ha just bought the physical version, played the demo and Detroit is very good indeed, some quick detective game-play elements are there (dont be fooled) and skill is needed, marrying with a great story.

Never played footy games, got the usual fifa's and pes in the collection but have to be watching the world cup or something to get the urge.

That's not to say they are bad games, they're not, long standing fun titles free or purchased and with pes usually at a discount.

I wonder why Sony changed their minds.....

Finished Detroit when it was new, but it is still a better PS+ game than PES(who plays soccer games and think they are fun? I sure don't). I wouldn't have played it anyways so makes no difference to me this month. I would assume people are more happy with this lineup, at least that is what some of my PS friends told me yesterday.

I own PES 2018, so if I got 2019 it would be just to check the new rosters. So, I'm happy with getting Detroit.

I would have preferred PES. I didn't like the demo of Detroit but i'll give the full game a go to see if it changes my mind.

Interesting. I guess there was quite some outrage on the internet over PES being one of the PS+ game.

I already played through Detroit, so it's not helping me personally. I love soccer, so I honestly wanted to try PES 2019, but it is better that a large group gets to play DETROIT. It is a good game.

I'll give Detroit a shot. I thought Heavy Rain was pretty good back in the day.
