Free multiplayer DLC coming to Arma 3
Arma 3 Zeus places players in the role of a Game Master who can influence mission content.
Bohemia Interactive has announced the first DLC pack for military shooter Arma 3. Named Arma 3 Zeus, the free DLC will feature a new form of multiplayer that allows players to step into the shoes of a Game Master dubbed as Zeus, and influence the online battles of other players.
According to the announcement, the mode takes inspiration from tabletop games such as Dungeons & Dragons. Players can access play Arma 3 Zeus in specific Game Master scenarios or in the coop, team death match, and sector control modes. The player who assumes the role as the Zeus of the game will be able to watch the battlefield from a bird's-eye view and use a real-time editor, allowing them to change or expand mission content.
The Arma 3 Zeus update will be launched this spring. For more on Arma 3, check out GameSpot's review.
