Free Hearthstone Card Packs Available Now To Celebrate New Milestones

Hearthstone recently reached two new milestones, and to mark the occasion, Blizzard will be giving away some freebies.

Starting today, logging in anytime during May will net you three free Journey to Un'Goro card packs. This offer is limited to one per account, but everyone is eligible, including those who may not have played Hearthstone previously. Simply open up the game and you'll be greeted by the screen below.

Blizzard announced today that Hearthstone has passed the 70-million-players mark across all platforms. It also set a new record for the most players it's seen in a single day, although it didn't specify the number or day.

Hearthstone's latest big update was the aforementioned Journey to Un'Goro expansion, which kicked off the Year of the Mammoth. Some significant changes have been made to the way game operates, and, moving forward, the release schedule for expansions and Adventures will be different than what players are used to.
