Free Call Of Duty: Warzone DLC For PS Plus Members Is Available Now

With the start of Season 5 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Warzone players on PS4 can claim a new combat pack.

Season 5 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone began last week, introducing changes to the battle royale map, new game modes, challenges, and more. Like usual, PlayStation Plus subscribers can snag a Combat Pack for free, which is exclusive to PS4 until October 1.

The Combat Pack comes with a bunch of unique cosmetics, led by the Epic Zane Footballer skin--a fitting addition considering Season 5 opened up the Verdansk Stadium. To unlock the skin, you'll have to fulfill one of two conditions: win a match in Warzone or get the Juggernaut in Modern Warfare's multiplayer. Neither task is particularly easy, as earning the Juggernaut requires a 15 kill streak. If you don't already have Zane unlocked as an Operator, you'll get him by unlocking the skin.

Here's the full list of items you'll get in the new Combat Pack:

  • Epic Zane "Footballer" Skin
  • Epic "Injury Time" Watch
  • Epic "On the Volley" Weapon Blueprint
  • Epic "Stunning Strike" Calling Card
  • Epic "The Sparks" Charm
  • Epic "Sparks Pride" Emblem
  • 60-minute Double XP Token

While PS Plus isn't required to play Call of Duty: Warzone, having a PS Plus membership can get you the above free DLC as well as free games each month. August's PS Plus freebies include the new breakout battle boyale game Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered.

Warzone players can also check out a traditional multiplayer playlist for free until August 12 and save on Modern Warfare all week. To celebrate the free access period, Modern Warfare is on sale for $39 at the PlayStation Store.
