FoxKids.com and Codemasters Deal
The two companies strike a marketing and product cobranding deal.
FoxKids.com and Codemasters have announced a cobranding and marketing alliance for the upcoming PlayStation game FoxKid's Micro Maniacs. FoxKids.com will support the game with promotions such as shockwave media based on the game's premise, a comic book, and a strategy guide for the PS game.
"We are looking for opportunities to have online versions of games launch on the site, combining with offline offering," said Adam Chesnoff, senior vice president and chief operating officer of FoxKids.com. "As console games come online, FoxKids will include online elements to support games."
FoxKids.com expects to reach similar agreements with other developers interested in reaching the site's 6- to 14-year-old demographic.
