Fox Gives Croc Tasty Marketing

Fox Interactive signs a marketing deal with LifeSavers and Gummi Savers to feature Croc 2.

Croc 2, scheduled to hit the PlayStation in June, will be supported with a marketing and promotional campaign so tasty, it... uh... could be renamed tasty marketing. Fox Interactive announced Tuesday that it will partner with the Life Savers Co. for a Croc 2 Down Under Promotion, beginning June 1 and running through the end of the year.

Croc will be featured on more than 6.5 million packages of Gummi Savers (Wild Berry, Five Flavor and Crystal Craze flavors), as well as a sweepstakes. The grand prize will be a trip to Australia for one lucky family of four. Other prizes include PlayStation game consoles, Croc 2 games, and strategy guides. Gummi Savers products will also be featured in Croc 2, giving Croc the bouncing power needed to get through the game.

A playable demo of Croc 2 will be available in the July 1999 issue of the Official US PlayStation magazine.
