3DO has revealed that it is working on Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, a multiplatform game intended for mature gamers and scheduled for release near the end of 2003. The game, which will be unveiled at the Comic-Con comic book convention in San Diego next month, will feature the art of comic book artists Simon Bisley and David DeVries. Bisley is best known for his work on Judge Dredd, Lobo, and Heavy Metal, while DeVries is known for his work on X-Men covers.

According to 3DO, the game has been in development since 2000 and is currently in production. Bisley and DeVries are working with 3DO to help bring the game's new story to life. 3DO has not announced all of the platforms the game will be released on, although the company did confirm that the game will be released on the PC. We'll post more information about the game as it becomes available.

Comic-Con International will take place August 1-4, 2002 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California. For more information about the event, visit the official Comic-Con Web site.
