Microsoft has announced the new additions to the Xbox Game Pass catalog for Xbox One for October, and they include some big-game titles. All subscribers will get to play seven more games in October, including the brand-new launch Forza Horizon 4 at launch on October 2. [Update: Forza Horizon 4 is out now on Game Pass, alongside the other new additions for October. It's a great month for the service, with Forza in particular debuting to strong reviews.]

Other games joining the Xbox Game Pass catalog in October include Wolfenstein: The New Order, Metro 2033 Redux, Westerado: Double Barreled, Lego Indiana Jones, Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, and Split/Second. As you might have noticed, some of these titles are Xbox 360 games, and these are backwards-compatible games that play on Xbox One.

There are more than 100 games in the Xbox Game Pass library, including titles like Halo 5, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Fallout 4, Rocket League, Hitman, Sea of Thieves, and Rise of the Tomb Raider, among many others.

Xbox Game Pass costs $10 USD/month, but you can get started with a free 14-day trial. Unlike Netflix, you download the games instead of streaming them, so you might need an additional storage solution if you're hoping to pick up a lot of Xbox Game Pass games.
