Forza Horizon 3 Demo Out Now on Xbox One With No HDR, Coming to PC Later [UPDATE]
Try out the Australia-set racing game now on Xbox One.
[UPDATE 2] Forza Horizon 3's demo on Xbox One does not include HDR support for people playing on an Xbox One S. Microsoft's Mike Ybarra confirmed this on Twitter in an exchange with a fan.
[UPDATE] A Microsoft representative told GameSpot a Forza Horizon 3 demo will be available on PC after launch on September 27, though a specific date was not provided.
"A standalone Forza Horizon 3 PC demo will be released sometime after launch," the spokesperson said. "We invite all players who are eager to play Forza on PC to try Forza Motorsport 6: Apex, available now in the Windows 10 Store for free."

As suspected, Forza Horizon 3 is getting a demo. Microsoft announced today that the free demo is indeed real and is out now on Xbox One.
The Forza Horizon 3 demo includes a number of cars, including the Lamborghini Centario (which is on the game's cover), as well as multiple dune buggies and a trophy truck. Additionally, the demo includes the BMW M4 Coupe, the Ford Shelby GT350R, and the 2014 HSC Limited Edition GEN-F GTS Maloo.
There are a number of events to complete in the Forza Horizon 3 demo that will take you around Australia's oceanside roads and rainforests. You can also go online and play with friends in a free roam session.
You can grab the Forza Horizon 3 demo on your Xbox One or queue up your download right here. According to the demo's product page, it will take up 18.34 GB of hard drive space on your console.
We have followed up with Microsoft in an effort to find out if the Forza Horizon 3 demo may also be released on PC sometime down the road.
The existence of a Forza Horizon 3 demo is not a big surprise, as a listing for it was published last week.
Forza Horizon 3 launches on September 27 for Xbox One and PC. You don't have to wait that long to play the full game, however, as $100 Ultimate Edition unlocks on September 23. Additionally, Forza Horizon 3 is an Xbox Play Anywhere title, so you can buy it digitally on Xbox One and get the Windows 10 version free or vice versa.
In other news about Forza Horizon 3, Microsoft recently announced the game's PC requirements and revealed the nearly 150 songs on the game's soundtrack.
