Forza 2 details online car lot, more rides

Racing simulation will have Xbox Live Auction House where gamers can buy, sell cars; new list of auto manufacturers includes Jags, Saabs, Bentleys.

The details continue to trickle out for the upcoming Xbox 360 racing sim Forza Motorsport 2. In the latest batch of news, Microsoft reveals a brand-new feature for Forza 2 as well as another list of licensed cars that will be included in the game.

Gamers who have always wanted to run their own car dealership will be happy to hear that the new Xbox Live Auction House will let them do just that...virtually, at least. The online store will let players put their own custom rides up for sale for in-game credits or trade with other Forza 2 users.

Microsoft also rolled out a sneak peek of the second part of a six-part series detailing the cars that will be featured in the game. While the last update listed the European exotics, this update reveals the rest of the European manufacturers, which include Aston Martin, Jaguar, Bentley, Lotus, TVR, Saab, Volvo, McLaren, and more. A full list of models is expected to be on the newly redesigned Forza 2 Web site soon [UPDATE--the list of cars is below].

Forza Motorsport 2 is due in stores this May and is rated E for Everyone. For more information read GameSpot's previous coverage.
