"Whoops!"

[UPDATE] Epic Games has fixed a number of the bugs through a new patch. The full details of what's been fixed can be found here on the game's website.

The original story is below.

The big new update for Epic's Fortnite made some welcome changes and improvements. That's the good news. The not-so-good news is that the update also included new bugs. Thankfully, Epic is aware of the problems and is working on a fix.

"Whoops," Epic said in a tweet about the newly discovered bugs.

A forum post lists off the current "known issues" in Fortnite, including character models getting stuck in aim-down-sights (ADS). Another issue pertains to the UI for building, one problem being that the UI shows you have stairs chosen but it builds walls.

Fortnite also currently has issues with reloading weapons but no further details about this problem were shared. Epic also talked about an issue it recently fixed. On PC only, there was a key-binding problem for some keyboards, but now it is resolved.

You can see a full rundown of Fortnite's known issues below, as posted on the game's forums. The patch is presumably coming to all platforms: PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

In other news, Epic recently announced the closure of its other main game, Paragon. Refunds are being offered to all players, which is some good news at least.

Known Issues:

  • Stuck in ADS
  • Visual problems with building selector UI
    • Example: Building selector shows you have stairs selected, but you build walls.
  • Reloading issues

Resolved:

  • Key binding issues for AZERTY/FR Keyboards - we deployed a minor PC-only patch on the 01.26 at 3:30 am EST.
