Comments

The second week of Fortnite: Chapter 2 Season 3 is here, meaning there are a handful of new challenges to complete. Most require the typical head-clicking and ammo box searching, although there are a few that require a bit more planning before you jump out of the battle bus. One is fairly simple, although those who haven't spent a lot of time on the map may not recognize the location: Gather or Consume Foraged Items at The Orchard. Here's where to find The Orchard. You'll be able to gather the items in no time. After that, you can move on to even more Season 3 challenges.

Orchard Location

The Orchard isn't listed on the Season 3 map but it's located just north of Frenzy Farm surrounded by a road on three sides. It's a small area full of trees and a few farm houses. Once you get there you'll see dozens of trees along with basic farming equipment. Unlike other major parts of the map The Orchard has not changed at all in the transition from Season 2 to Season 3.

How Do You Gather Foraged Items?

Foraged items are lone pieces of food that can be found in trees, boxes, and laying on the ground. The Orchard has several different types including apples laying beneath the trees, cabbages along the soil, and mushrooms in various boxes. Once you arrive at The Orchard go straight to the glowing items on the ground. You won't be able to consume them if you have full health so save room in your inventory and gather them instead. You'll need to collect or consume five in all.

What Reward Do You Get For Completing The Challenge?

Collecting or consuming foraged items will net you 40,000 experience points. It's a nice boost as collecting foraged items gives you separate experience as well.
