Fortnite Landmark Locations: How To Visit 5 Landmarks In A Single Match

A new Week 6 "Hide and Seek" challenge involves going back to landmarks again.

An early challenge in Fortnite: Chapter 2 involved visiting landmarks, a new type of location found around the island--but unlike named locations, these are not identified on the in-game map. That makes finding them to complete a challenge a little more difficult, and that's particularly a concern with the just-released batch of Week 6 "Hide and Seek" challenges. One of these asks you to visit five landmarks in a single match, which is no easy feat--you'll need to know where to go and avoid getting killed as you make your way from one to the next. In the map and video below, you can see where landmarks are located to help you plot a path to complete the challenge.

While you're at it, you can also do a "New World" challenge from earlier in the season, if you haven't already done so. That simply asks you to discover landmarks. Fortunately, this challenge is much easier because there are more than 10 landmarks on the map and you can make progress across multiple matches. Simply approaching a landmark should cause its name to pop up in the corner of the screen, which is all you need to do to register progress for the challenge.

Landmarks are all around the map: They're essentially named locations, but smaller. You won't find them on the map, but wandering around on roads and paths away from named locations is generally the best way to find them. If you look at your in-game map, you'll see it slowly revealed as you explore during Chapter 2 for the first time. As such, you can head to a place that you know you haven't been and, odds are, you'll stumble upon a landmark.

Alternatively, you can check out our locations map above, which points out many of the landmarks that we've been able to confirm. As already noted, there are more than 10 on the map, and any of these will do for the purposes of completing the challenges, but this map should help to ensure you find enough to complete the challenge.
