Fortnite is getting a Venom skin as part of an upcoming tournament. Players will be able to earn the skin if they place well enough in the Marvel Knockout competition taking place this week. Everyone else can purchase it from the item shop later on.

The tournament will take place on the evening of November 18 as previously announced. Players will need to form a team (either duos or trios) in order to participate. PS5 and Xbox Series X owners may need to play on a different platform--competitive playlists haven't been available on those consoles for the Black Widow tournament that took place last week.

A Venom skin has been rumored to come to Fortnite for some time since data miners found files in the game referencing him earlier in Season 4. He's the fourth and final Marvel skin to come as part of the Marvel Knockout Super Series. The other three include Daredevil, Ghost Rider, and a new Black Widow skin.

The official rules for the Venom tournament haven't been announced yet, but Epic Games has teased the event on Twitter. An official announcement, with qualifying details, should come soon. This tournament is happening in Marvel Knockout, a special team deathmatch mode that gives each players some of the Marvel-themed superhero abilities, and not Fortnite's regular battle royale mode.

Fortnite players have been trying to figure out how Season 4 will end. Galactus, a major villain from the Marvel universe, has been coming closer and closer to the map. Once he arrives, the Fortnite Galactus event will mark the transition between Season 4 and Season 5.
