This was inevitable: Fortnite Halloween costumes are on the way. Retailers Spirit Halloween and Spencer's have completed a deal  with Epic Games for "a range of officially licensed" Fortnite costumes, as well as accessories and gear based on the brand.

The available items on Spirit Halloween and Spencer's websites include adult and children's costumes based on skins such as the Black Knight, Crackshot, Dark Voyager, Skull Trooper, and Cuddle Team Leader. You can also purchase basic, rainbow smash, and party animal pickaxes, as well as a light-up boogie bomb that also plays sound.

Go to Spirit Halloween and Spencer's to see a full rundown of their Fortnite inventory. You can pre-order items now, but supply isn't expect to hit stores until early October. Additionally, Spirit Halloween and Spencer's executive Kym Sarkos said in a statement that the retailers will add even more Fortnite items down the road.

"Fortnite fans will be able to don their favorite costume skins preparing for epic battles in official gear and accessories," said Kym Sarkos, Executive Vice President of Spirit Halloween and Spencer's. "Dance battles, gaming with friends and cosplaying are only the beginning. We will continue to add detailed replica products for Fortnite fanatics, so be sure to keep an eye out for additional supply drops."

"A big part of Fortnite is letting players come together and express themselves in the game. Partnering with Spirit Halloween and Spencer's means they can take that to the next level, and we couldn't be more excited," Epic co-founder Mark Rein said in a statement.

The deal between Spirit Halloween, Spencer's, and Epic was brokered by IMG. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

July 25 is Fortnite's first anniversary, and Epic is celebrating with a big birthday bash. Here's everything you need to know about the event.
