Fortnite Gnome Locations At Camp Cod / Fort Crumpet

You'll need to destroy a bunch of gnomes to earn some extra XP and complete one of Fortnite's new Overtime challenges; here's where to go.

Comments

A new batch of challenges is now live in Fortnite. In addition to this week's secret No Right to Bear Arms challenge, which asks you to disarm gnomes and bears to prevent them from going to war, there's the first set of Season 2 Overtime missions, one of which ironically asks you to destroy gnomes in Camp Cod or Fort Crumpet. If you need help finding those, we've put together this guide showing you where to go.

Where Are The Gnome Locations?

As the challenge mentions, the gnomes are located in two specific areas: Camp Cod and Fort Crumpet. The former is in the southeastern corner of the map, in grid square G8, while the latter can be found northwest of Sweaty Sands, in A3.

There are numerous gnomes scattered around each area, so you shouldn't have much trouble coming across them just by exploring. You can see exactly where Camp Cod and Fort Crumpet are located on the map below.

How To Complete The Challenge

Once you know where to look, all you need to do is destroy a handful of gnomes to earn some XP. Unlike regular weekly challenges, there are multiple milestones for this mission, and you'll receive a different amount of XP each time you hit one of those. Destroy three gnomes and you'll receive 10,000 XP; destroying seven will net you 25,000; and destroying 15 will reward you with 55,000.

Your best bet for completing this challenge is Fort Crumpet, as the gnomes are all located fairly close together there and the area contains enough of them to hit the seven milestone fairly easily. The gnomes are a little harder to find around Camp Cod because they're more spread out, but if you're heading to that area, we've marked down all the gnome locations we've found there below. The three leftmost circles each contain two gnomes.

Season 2 of Fortnite Chapter 2 now runs into early June, so you still have some time left to finish up any weekly challenges you may have missed from earlier in the season. If you need help completing any of those, you can find our maps and guides for the trickier tasks in our Fortnite Season 2 challenges roundup.
