Ahead of Dune coming to theaters and HBO Max, it's coming to Fortnite.

The next Fortnite crossover looks to be Dune, according to a leak today that features the movie's two biggest characters coming to the Item Shop soon. These Fortnite Dune skins look exactly like their actor counterparts, which means Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya will soon be in Fortnite for the first time ever. Here's what you need to know.

Fortnite Dune Skins

Dune launches in theaters and on HBO Max this Friday, October 22, but according to dataminers, you'll be able to see them in Fortnite sooner than that. They should be in the Item Shop this week and maybe as early as tonight, October 18, when the store updates at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET.

Dataminers have been able to get a look at the names and styles of the complete set of Dune cosmetics, which includes the usual stuff like back bling and characters, but also an emote and loading screen for anyone looking to unlock the whole set. As you can see, the characters look very much like their Hollywood actors, confirming this is a direct collaboration with the new Denis Villeneuve movie. They'll even sport their black suits that, according to the story, they poop in.

Expect to find these items in the Item Shop as part of a bundle, too. Precedent suggests a bundle of this size will sell for about $25-30. The Dune collaboration isn't part of Fortnitemares, so it hasn't been teased previously like all the new skins we've been seeing emerge during the ongoing Halloween event. Nonetheless, these cosmetics will release very soon, and we'll be sure to update this story once they're confirmed.

In our Dune review, we gave the modern adaptation a score of 10/10, citing its awe-inspiring scale and gorgeous cinematography. If that doesn't impress you, maybe the potential of a Fortnite movie will.
