Fortnite And Dragon Ball Super Are Apparently Crossing Over Again

A new social media post has teased another crossover between the two massive IPs.

Following the massive crossover event from last summer--and running concurrently with the current massive anime crossover feature My Hero Academia--Fortnite and Dragon Ball Super will be joining forces again on January 31.

Official Fortnite social media accounts posted a single image of a purple spaceship with a familiar symbol flying over the Fortnite island, with the logos of both franchises positioned underneath. No other information is given regarding skins or other cosmetics, but more information will be provided tomorrow.

The symbol on the ship belongs to the Red Ribbon Army, a group of villains that Goku and his friends have been dealing with since the days of the original Dragon Ball. The group made a comeback in the recent Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero full-length movie, which means this new crossover could involve the film in some way.

The first Fortnite x Dragon Ball Super crossover ran in August and September 2022, and it added Goku, Bulma, Vegeta, and Beerus as playable characters in the game. Players were also given access to Goku's Kamehameha for use against opponents in the battle royale, while Master Roshi's Kame House was added to the map for a brief time.

Fortnite is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices.
