Formula One 2005 gears up for PS2s
Racer from Sony ready to do another lap on the PS2 this year in Europe.
Although Formula One racing's popularity in the US may be choking on the dust of the hoopla of its American cousin, NASCAR, it's widely favored by Europe's racing enthusiasts. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe today announced that Formula One 2005 for the PlayStation 2 will be released in Europe this year. This year's version will include interactive pit stops, more details in the grid lineup, and an improved career mode. Gamers will also be able to take their rides online and even join buddy lists to race the same competition over and over again. As of now, Sony has plans to release Formula One 2005 only in Europe. Sony is releasing another Formula One racer, F1 Grand Prix, for the PSP next month.
