A panel of video game industry veterans who worked at the three main console companies are getting together for a special interview later this week.

Former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime will be joined by ex-Xbox executive Robbie Bach and former PlayStation higher-up Jack Tretton for a special chat during the New York Game Awards festivities. The interview will take place on January 26 starting at 3:30 PM PT / 6:30 PM ET, and you can watch it live on Twitch.

Given the history and experience of each of the panelists, it should be a fascinating interview, though it's too soon to say for sure if it'll deliver any juicy news nuggets or anything like that.

This is the second high-profile interview that's happening as part of the New York Game Awards, following on from Fils-Aime's interview with Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima. You can re-watch the interview below, which was conducted as part of Kojima's acceptance of the NYVGCC Legend Award.

The awards show is scheduled for January 26, and it's being conducted virtually this year due to the health crisis. Fils-Aime will serve as the host, and the nominees for Game of the Year include Animal Crossing: New Horizons, The Last of Us Part II, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Doom Eternal, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and Hades.
